Finally found an internet cafe with a free terminal in Port Douglas - damned backpackers seem to spend their entire lives sending emails to friends.
We've been in Port Douglas for about a week. We've dived with turtles, poked giant clams and gawped at manta rays. We've explored the rainforest (the oldest in the world - 50m years older than the Amazon), clambered over mangrove forests that reach right out into the sea, body-boarded on the waves on Four Mile Beach and eaten Kangaroo burger.
Today Harry is scuba diving on his own, completing his PADI Open Water Diver qualfication. Dad is joining him tomorrow for 3 dives on the reef.
Just 3 more days to go here then we've off to Singapore en-route back to the UK.
